Come learn about exciting world of online journalism. TwoCircles.net (TCN) is a US-based non-profit news organization working on unreported stories of the marginalized communities.
TwoCircles.net invites application for a 6-month internship program. You will learn about reporting and writing news stories by experienced TCN staff.
Duration: 6 months
Language: Hindi or English
Requirement: Must be a resident of a non-capital city of India. Prior experience is not needed.
Send: A copy of your Resume to info@twocircles.net along with about 300-words article describing what you want to report about your region. Subject line of the email should say “Internship.”
Compensation: Rs. 5000/month depending on the need and availability of funds (TCN invites individuals to sponsor interns).
Last date: Jan 15, 2014.
Internship will begin: Feb 1, 2015.
Process: selection of candidates will be based on Resume, writing samples, and phone or online interview.
